Pets at home sell 90cm tanks which are just large enough IMHO but they're £55 each and need a lid making for them which adds another £10 on.

If you have a staples or ryman I think do them you cana get an 84 litre really useful box, these have no ridges at all to chew and if you dont put a wheel/tall toys in you can leave the lid off until you can mesh the lid properly. All you need to do is cut a hole in the lid and attach some mesh over the hole using cable ties/nuts&bolts and you have a cheap tank style cage that is much bigger than anything pets at home sell (apart from 90/120cm glass tanks) and only costs £20.

Other suitable bins are Wham 110 or 133 litre, the samla as Souffle mentioned or if you have a pound stretcher they sell 150 litre bins that woudl work too.

You can get mesh from B&Q, wickes or wilkinsons online (you need 12mm or less squared mesh)
