Sometimes rehoming is the only way. I hope you're able to figure something out that's good for everybody! As for a cage, perhaps she doesn't need the horizontal space but would benefit from more vertical space? Maybe having to climb everywhere would do her some good. I had a ham who loved to climb and she had multiple levels with ramps everywhere.
