When I got my Robo, he was in a tank with no wheel whatsoever, so it took him a while to get used to both his wheel and flying saucer.
At first he's run at the center of the fs, so it wouldn't turn, before he eventually figured out to run at the side, however then he would start out so fast that he'd be off the other side, before the wheel had even started to turn! Just like the photo - you can see his feet disappearing off the other side of the wheel:

It took Penny about a week to get used to it and now it's her favourite thing. She runs for miles on it. And it's silent (unlike the 'silent' spinner)
