Why do you hope you are wrong?
My Jack russel terrier when I was 15 needed vet treatment, my step father had just left us, and my mum had lost her job so we had no money, so I used the PDSA who were brilliant, and luckily the lump my dog had wasn't cancer, but he did need a few teeth removing. Situations can change, you can have a pet like we did (Scampi my Jack Russell) that went to the normal full fee paying vet, when we were a full family with wages coming in to the situation we were onwere my mum was left on her own we me,my younger sister and Scampi, we did have to rehome the puppy my step father had bought a few weeks before he left as we knew we couldn't afford to offer her all her needs at that time, this broke my mothers heart.
