Remember your hamster is not a little person in a skin! It does not experience emotions like humans do but acts on the way it is treated and handled. Take time and patience to tame your hamster and it will be happier to interact with you but hamsters, especially young ones, are not lap pets and they always want to go and investigate what is 'over there' That is their nature - to be curious and active and always on the go and you shouldn't expect anything else. It shows your hammy is healthy
You can make up fun things for her to do with cushions and boxes etc and let her enjoy scrambling over them supervised of course. Think like a hammy and see what you come up with!
