What a way to start a relationship with a hammy! I think it's terrific that you went for the surgery and saved her life. I know she's going to have a wonderful life with you, however long that may be. Pooping is always a concern, be it with children, elderly parents, dogs, cats and hammies. Some things are just universal.
Stories like yours are so helpful because someone else may know what's happening right away if it happens to one of their hammies, just because you felt it was important to share the info. Welcome to HC and pictures are forthcoming...yes?
