I have a cambridge and while I would happily put a baby syrian in one, or a dwarf hamster, wouldn't use it for an adult now that I have an alaska and a mamble.The shelves drive me mad when cleaning and it really isn't big enough (I would consider it for an elderly hamster).You can't easily fit a 12 inch wheel in and for me the floor space is just too small.Yes some hammies are happy in them but I don't think I could honestly say it's a very good cage when you can get an alaska for the same price.I keep 2 mice in mine now as they are happy climbing the bars.It is however better than the smaller cages some shops seem to think are suitable
