on one of my 2nd hand Luxes the hole had been chewed to make it bigger, so i put a piece of cardboard over it and masking taped it on. It's only for a WW and she never goes near it. i don't think she can reach it actually, but i thought i'd tape it up to be on the safe side! Splodge just has the hole and he never touches it.
I've seen Colin sniffing out of his, but he doesn't chew because as far as he's concerned a Lux is a massive cage! put one of my hams in there and they'd be like what's this prison mamma?!
