Hi!! This is super urgent!!
I have two containers with Alfred's food in - One is stored in a draw with his peanuts and mealworms, which is sealed tight shut.
I have another massive 5kg bag (was an accident lol) of the food next to my set of drawers. I poured some food into Alfred's cage earlier only to notice it was SWARMED with these little black crawling bugs?!
I have checked the bigger package (which has a hole in it where I get the food but always has something covering it) and there seems to be no bugs at all... it was just in the pot I had his food in.
I use Silvers Mix for Syrians, btw.
What do I do?!
I have put him in his pen because I don't plan to put him back in his cage until it is all cleaned out. However I just poked the food around and there was no movement at all... Like the bugs are gone now...?
