Do you think jay cloths would be ok to use as hammocks then? I didn't know about all this no hammock business, my hammy has two hammocks because her cage is quite tall and when I got it she fell off one level and ricocheted off the other onto the floor
she wasn't hurt though, just got up and carried on exploring! Then I added the hammocks and she lands nice and softly! She doesn't chew them at all but I don't think her cage could be without them the height that it is.
