You just have to be patient. We start by putting them all in a play box with toys. When they are busy we pick them up and immediately lay them down while holding them low over the box in case they jump. Gradually lift them out on your lap and run through the hands. They are very speedy and jumpy at first but soon get used to it. Sometimes we handle two at a time as this gives them confidence.
I'm sure they will soon be tame if you do this several times a day x
