Yeh, I, personally, wouldn't be happy leaving a ham in the bath open and unsupervised, with a towel. The cage doesn't seem that small for a few days... Even if you leave the cage in the bath and spend your time in that room for a few hours in the evening, to give her some extra space but put the lid on when it's time for you to go to bed?
