Syrians for me. My first hamster was a Syrian so my whole love of hamsters started with them. I love that you can give them a proper cuddle and they're so full of spark, personality and life. I feel you can bond more easily and quickly with a Syrian due to them being so much easier to handle and interact with. I feel Syrians bond with their owners more, they want more attention and interaction than dwarfs/chinese. I love with Syrians that if you put the effort and kindness in they repay you tenfold with love and affection and just love to be with you.

I'm still getting to know my Chinese but as much as I love her already, I honestly can't see Chinese replacing Syrians as my favourite.
