Hi everyone, i recently bought a hamster after weeks of research and Hamster Central had been essential in that research. Now three weeks into ownership and all supplies bought I decided to join the forum(I know this is not essential to my point but I just thought to make it known anyway). After looking around the site and finding this thread I simply couldnt resist posting a word of warning!DO NOT BUY THE HABITRAIL TWIST CAGE! As I said having bought my supplies(including cage) it was too late to return anything or go through such fuss. When the habitrail twist cage arrived I was appauled at the meagre size of it. A tiny arm span in length the cage is not suitable to house an insect in nevermind a syrian hamster. So as i said i decided to keep the cage and just buy tons and tons of tubes and the like for extra room and the thoughts of adding a bin cage to it. Just to point out I never found any reviews on this specific cage despite all vigorous research so i thought id attend to it myself. If anyone, like me, out there is planning on buying this cage please dont, youd be much better off with the ovo loft or something. I realy am not exaggerating in my explanation of the cage.
