It's very hard to breed Chinese Dwarf Hamsters because the female cycle depends on the temperature of the room and whether or not they have been around normal cycles of daylight.
Also Female Chinese hamsters lose their fertility when they are about a year old.
I agree with separating them since one is a male and one is a female, I was just asking in general because having two or more of one sex is okay. Just wanted to know if she knew they are peaceful with one another when introduced young.
