This thread actually makes me thinking. Is it also for syrians that they use it for balance as well? When Choco is out and he is determined to dig somewhere, his tail just sticks out and when I stroke him it does not feel like it ''wants'' to bend to the stroke of my hand, it just jumps back to the way it was! Also if he is walking slowly and wobbly (like waking up but walking already) his tail goes from left to right and turns and it is so cute.
I never noticed this with my dwarfs though. Maybe their tail is too small?
