Red face Smelly Hamster

Well,...I'm pretty new to owning hamsters, I guess.
I recently got a new hammy, a Fancy Dwarf Hamster,...
August 14 2010 so I've had her a little under a week I think.

After waiting 2 days for her to get used to her new habitat before handling her, to reduce stress, I finnaly held her, but, its been maybe a day or two,..and she has a pretty strong odor, now that I didnt smell before.

After just losing my first Russian Dwarf Hamster, Koishi to wet-tail, after owning her for a long 1 year and 8 months.
I'm very,...paranoid.

Because supossedly a strange odor is a symptom of wet tail,
but Mika, my new hammy, is dry, and active.

I read something about Syrians and their scent glands secreting something but I was just brushing through google,
is there a specific spot a Dwarf hamsters scent glands are located?
Havent found anything on Dwarfies.

Because just yesterday there was a yellow spot on Mikas white coat, between her little shoulder blades, just behind her head,
assuming it was a lttle bit of pee.
Because its gone now.

But, do young Fancy Dwarf Hamsters generally have a strong scent emitting from them?
Or could it be the start of wet-tail?
Possibly Scent Glands?

>u<" I'm kind of new to this......
Sorry, I'm a tad paranoid too,...XP
But thats because I just love my hammies alot, and worry about their health. :3

(aaaand I also just joined today, so I'm still kind of navigating the site.)
